The solution is applied via the van system or in some cases a portable delivery system with a 12v electric diaphragm pump, which applies the cleaning solution via a specially adapted carbon telescopic pole at around 40-80 PSI.

Can a pressure washer be used to soft wash?
It is not recommended to use a pressure washer as your soft wash system, soft washing is a low-pressure cleaning method. A steam or pressure washer can be used as a pre-clean where algae is wide spread and dense, but only to remove the surface layer and working knowledge to do the work correctly.
Can you soft wash bricks?
Yes, it can be the best way to clean the brick face without damaging the surface. Pressure washers can damage the surface of a soft brick. You cannot pressure wash brick on high pressure settings and may take a couple of years for you to realize that the brick was damaged. The delamination process happens pretty slowly, but it can’t be stopped once it starts. All the brick on your house or patio will have to be replaced as it starts crumbling. There are certain types of bricks that can be pressure washed but caution and training is required.
How long does it last?
Once your building has been soft washed the results are truly amazing and will last 4-6 times longer than pressure washing alone.
